Rose is Buneary that currently resides at the Pokemon HQ Lab in the Orre Region. They're a former Shadow Pokemon, and like many other Pokemon from similar circumstances, she underwent rehabilitation at the lab. Their situation was a bit more unique, though, in that they were experimented on newly hatched, and thus had no real former memories to return to after being purified. They behaved in a feral manner, frightened and aggressive, and the process of helping them was a difficult one, but she's come a long way since then.
Nowadays, they're mostly just meek and quiet, but are comfortable enough with the people and Pokemon living at the lab.
