Background

Dahlia comes from humble origins in the countryside. Her biological mother and father were both reckless drunks who had not payed her much mind. Her birthmother was incarnated long-term for a DUI, and so her father decided the next course of action would be to move on with their lives after making an official divorce. Dahlia was hopeful, seeing that her father might be turning a new leaf. You can imagine her disappointment when he married in with her neglectful, very-much, still alcoholic stepmother. Only now Dahlia was under harsh scrutiny. Her stepmom would catch onto her feminine dress and behavior when she was finding herself as a woman. Dali’s father would be blamed by his now-wife for raising an inadequate son, and so released his frustrations by joining in on the verbal and physical abuse of Dahlia. Her stepbrother was not spared from this treatment of their parents either. Both teenagers at the time would build a budget behind their parents’ backs and plan a move into a rural town.

Present

Years after having escaped her family, Dahlia settled in to a life and home of her own in the same town her and her stepbrother fled to. She found library work to be a most comforting job. Redirecting clients? Just a breeze. The environment is as a rule, predictable, and upkeeping inventory keeps her at peace.
