Songbird

Born in 1824, during the Qing Dynasty, Míngzé was born under a different name but quickly changed it as a young adolescent (keeping his family name as it was essential to his line and birthrights). He lived a somewhat uneventful life as the wealthy son of the Daoguang Emperor 道光帝,  but spent much of his time fascinated by heavenly bodies rather than his responsibilities. Unexpectedly, a hand came down from the stars and granted Míngzé the power to be a Herald of Galactus. Suddenly ripped from his family, he met another Herald named Norrin, who became like a father to him after an untold number of years passed in both their minds. They withstood many thousands of adventures together amongst the stars. Míngzé's love for them never died and he did not forget his origins, holding onto the hope of returning and restoring his father's dynasty. Although he was aware that all he once knew was no more. He would still impose his rightful rule over what would be modern day China.

Míngzé got his wish. With the power he now held, it was easy to do away with the modern government. As the acting Emperor of China, he won the people's loyalty by being a fair and generous official. He fiercely protected his territory, upheld rigorous economical standards that improved the lives of average citizens, improved China's climate policy, lowered carbon emissions drastically, restored unprecedented life to the wildlife and ecosystem, forming a beautiful eco-brutalist society. He still has more plans for the future. The people have become very affectionate toward their new ruler and call him Míngqín鳴禽 which is a term for a songbird. Something that quickly became a symbol of hope and change across the country, cementing Míngzé as the first Emperor of the Míngqín Dynasty.
