Honestly, I think he takes them as a challenge - both in mastery of flame and illusion and in holding a grudge. Interestingly, Hollow has a rather rattling, echoing voice; something I’m pretty sure comes from his hallow trait given its prevalence with Halloween and Samhain. Seriously how else would he somehow have Spectrier’s ability.”
