Most of the times, Chika is outgoing and friendly, trying to be friendly to everyone despite their social classes being most of the times different. She is very social, and is called a social butterfly, as she knows everyone and has a lot of contacts because of her family’s expansion. Due this, she also has a proud bearing. She is praised by her intelligence and calm behavior during cooking and classes, and has several A grades, and won several cooking competitions, also helped by her creative and quick mind. Being trained in her father’s restaurant, she has nerves of steel and rarely freaks out with nervousness. Due her upbringing, she is confident on her skills, bordering the arrogance, and doesn’t acknowledge a lot of chefs, and presents a superiority complex towards those, and can be rude, cold, disrespectful and ruthless, being seen as scary and frightening.

Chika's cooking style is a quite complex one. While it's not unlike Souma's, she doesn't seem to do everything at random, and it's easy to realize which dish is she changing. People say that the dishes she cooks, are dishes well known to everyone, with a huge twist, which earned her the "International Twister" title. Chika's cuisine style is a mix between Hawaiian, American, Portuguese, French and German cuisine styles, result of her multiple nationalities, and of her travels and training. Since she experienced first-hand all of those styles, she holds great knowledge over them. Not only that, she is studying in Tootsuki, she is also gradually gaining knowledge in Japanese dishes and their cuisine style, which gives her a great flexibility in the dishes she is preparing. Also, Chika seems to know a lot about the ingredients, specially Portuguese ones, whom are almost unknown to everyone in Japan, as well as their specialities. She was shown to be able to use old goat meat (commonly called "chanfana" in Portugal), Oporto wine, and a Spanish sauce ("molho à espanhola") to make curry. Chocolate RS [ former ]: Upon joining Tootsuki Cooking Academy, Chika joined the Chocolate RS along with her twin sister, in order for them to learn more about it, so they could help their sister later on. She has been a member of it ever since her second year in Middle School, and it was talked that on her second year of High School she could take up the leadership of it, however not only Chika quit it, but the Chocolate RS lost against Momo Akanegakugo, which caused it to dissolve.

Shiomi Seminar [ former, later returned ]: Jun Shiomi invited Chika to join them, during the Autumn Election, after discovering Chika's talent for spicy food, which complimented her own research and Akira's own talent in fragance manipulation. With the two, Chika was able to evolve and develop her own cooking style more than she thought it was possible, and was able to also assist both Akira and Jun in their projects and research. The Seminar was dissolved during Azami's administration, after Akira lost to Souma Yukihira which caused them to be dissolved. Four months after the Régiment de Cuisine, the Shiomi Seminar was allowed to continue, and Chika returned.
