Alethea Rosendahl (✧. thousand cranes)

They first met when Alethea and her mother started living in Shaftlands. Alethea, who was still young at the time, went to the nearest bookstore to buy a new book. Unfortunately, the book she was looking for was the only copy left and had been bought by Rollo.

Alethea was still unwilling to accept that she couldn't get the book. So, she tried to persuade Rollo to sell her the book at three times the store price. Rollo, of course, refused, leaving Alethea feeling dejected. For some reason, Rollo allowed Alethea to borrow the book once he was finished with it. When they agreed to exchange their addresses, they realized that their houses were nearby. From then on, they started to spend more time together.

When Rollo was 13 years old, he found out that Alethea was of fairy descent. At that point, Rollo, who had already started to loathed magic, became somewhat distant from her. Then, without prior notice, Alethea suddenly returned to her hometown. Consequently, they lost contact with each other.

Five years later, Alethea attended the NBC with her school friends to participate in the Promising Young Mages' Social, and to her surprise, she discovered that the student council president was none other than Rollo Flamme.

This unexpected encounter led to a somewhat awkward mini-reunion between them. Things took a turn when they clashed over Rollo's decision to eliminate magic from the world. Rollo couldn't help but feel disappointment in Alethea due to her fairy lineage, but Alethea's differing perspective led her to oppose him, even though she eventually backed down from the confrontation.

After the conflict subsided, their relationship remained strained. However, Alethea made an effort to maintain a connection with Rollo, and he eventually accepted her back into his life. In a curious turn of events, Rollo found himself wondering why Alethea didn't despise him.

They exchanged contact information, leading to more frequent communication. They connected on social media, but they prefer to exchange letters. Later on, they developed feelings for each other, eventually confessing their feelings.
