Briar is an incredibly sweet natured Nyap around his clients and loves, but he takes on a kind of sassy 'I'm untouchable' facade in front of those he doesn't know unless he's with trusted people. He feels vulnerable in front of strangers and doesn't like the feeling, despite telling his own clients to be themselves. He loves his line of work, but it's difficult to follow his own advice.

- Briar was the runt of his litter.
- His gentileness can easily be flipped, as he's quite the little protector, and will get "pissy" if you threaten whoever he's trying to calm at the time.
- Kneads softly when he's content, but like any cat he will claw if he's scared.
- Dresses in a regal manner and keeps himself neatly kept.
- Tends to be moody like normal cats sometimes; but just pet his head and wait for him to start purring he's right as rain again.
- Balance is sometimes a little off; making him look clumsier than he is
- Flexible; Can fold himself up into small spaces/squeeze through small holes
- Sharp claws; Sometimes good, sometimes not. Tends to keep them carefully filed to avoid scratching anyone.
- Can sense when his companions are distressed and will go to them sometimes when they're not even aware they need him.

Briar was born into a litter as the runt, but he quickly became the more covetted Nyap as his patterns and markings became more pronounced. Learning more about his heightened ability to calm others with the sound of his purring, even moreso than the rest of his litter, he was scooted into being a therapy animal and soon earned a line of work in his home, as it wasn't hard to find anyone of royalty that needed de-stressing.
