big, gruff, grumpy old bear. often swears and uses vulgar language, and sometimes butts heads with scylla, but always ends up listening to her in the end. despite his prickly exterior, he cares a lot about his crew, and his tendency to be argumentative stems from concern about what's best.

even during his less grumpy moods, he still tends to make a lot of sarcastic quips. he has a softer side at his core, but it takes peeling back a lot of layers to get to this.

he is very good in hand to hand combat, due to having a lot of muscle and knife-like, razor sharp claws, but is also skilled with weapons. he often uses his strength to do a lot of heavy lifting around the ship, such as hoisting the anchor and loading cannon balls.

loves seafood a lot, especially fish!
