Birth & Childhood
Venoosian does not reproduce, every so often, the planet will call its leaders and guide them to the fountains
where a new venoosian will be shaped and come to life.
What emerge is called a "Blob"
Lifespan
Blobs are given to one or more caretakers that will teach them what they know about the world.
Blobs will take between 1 to 3 human years to take their shapes and reach maturity between 20 to 30 human years.
Venoosian have long lifespan, 100+ is considered to be an advanced age but some individuals have reached 500+ years.
However, past a certain age, their body becomes less resistant and goopy
Death
Venoosian bodies are resistant, they're immune a lot of elements that could kill earthlings.
However, they're not immortal. if part of their bodies takes damage, the area will temporary become more liquid and will need time to solidify again.
If the area takes more damage or other part of the body starts to liquefy, damage may expand to the rest of the body, which would result in death.
If the water of a Venoosian cannot maintain it's form, they will die.
It is tradition to return the water to the fountain for it to be reused for new blobs in the future, the plates are kept as memorial for the deceased.
Injuries and Disability
It is possible for Blobs to emerge without enough gel to form all parts of their bodies.
Venoosian can also lose part of their bodies in accident and avoid full liquidation if their damaged area are taken care properly.
In rare cases, Blobs born without enough gel to form can absorb other non-water element surrounding them. creating a rare kind of Venoosians.
