Socrates is one of the Fysaeras who works at the library. He's a social and enthousiastic boy, sometimes being a little too loud in the library. He hasn't been working there that long yet, just a bit before Reni came to work there. His main reasons to go there weren't even because he had such a big love for books or anything, no. When he first met Athena, it was love at first sight for him. So when he heard she works at the library, he couldn't help but apply for a job there as well.
At first the job itself didn't interest him too much, but hearing Athena talk enthousiastically about her passion for books definitely did inspire him and made him appreciate it more and more. Socrates doesn't know that much yet, but slowly and surely he's learning more from Athena, and he loves listening to her stories and how knowledgable she is. His love for her only grew with that.
Current Life
Since then the two of them grew closer, but he hasn't confessed his love for her just yet. He has been trying to make a necklace decorated with amethysts for Athena though, since it's a custom to give your tail item as a confession present. But so far he hasn't made a necklace Socrates deems pretty enough for Athena just yet, so he keeps trying and trying.

Socrates absolutely adores Athena, and does his best to get as close to her as possible. He's not that good at being direct in his confessions though, and hasn't told her yet he loves her. To others it's quite obvious Socrates has a crush though.
Reni

Socrates sees Reni as a little sister, and he likes teasing her a bit from time to time. They get along very well, and are a lot like family.
