Samantha "Sam" Myers is a young genius with a penchant for computers and pretty women. She is employed as a hacker by notorious crime lord Helena Stoker, who is also her girlfriend. She loves books, particularly mysteries and historical fiction, and puzzle video games. She feeds stray cats that come near their apartment building and wants a puppy to spoil, though is having little luck convincing Helena.

Sam is an ambivert who, despite being content staying at home, enjoys engaging socially with those around her. She is a workaholic and easily gets caught up in what she's doing. Her worldview is optimistic, even though she is rather realistic. As a logic and detail-oriented person, she is good at putting together puzzles, but fails to think abstractly. She's a hopeless romantic and so despite her previous struggles with relationships and dating due to her transition, her experiences have not soured her ideas of love; she likes to be romantic and takes Helena on moonlit dates. She's a very affectionate person, though she refrains from marring Helena's cold and ruthless reputation with affection. As long as she has a reason to be, Sam is incredibly loyal, which is why she turned her back on the industry that rejected her and now puts her faith in Helena's empire. Though she does have morals, they can be fuzzy at times; her moral compass can shift slightly if it means sleeping better at night. Although she appears very friendly and harmless, Sam is not easily intimidated. (Most) insults roll off her back like water on a duck and she can spit fiery comebacks immediately.

Sam is a bit on the tall side, standing at 5'10" (178cm) without shoes on. Though previously self conscious of her height, she has now found enjoyment in being taller than her girlfriend. She has freckles across her nose and cheeks, and a small birthmark under her right eye. Even though she was in her twenties when she began her transition, Sam still "passes" as cis for the most part. Her jaw is defined, though over the years she's learned how to use makeup to de-emphasize it. Her hair helps; naturally wavy, she keeps it at jaw-length and uses products to keep it from being all over the place. Its natural color is a dark brown but she keeps it dyed a light blue most of the time. Her chest is small, the product of HRT and not implants, but she's fine with that. She does, however, feel uneasy about her lack of curves. Thankfully, picking the right kinds of clothes can give the illusion of having defined hips. She rarely dresses up, preferring to stay in her comfortable jeans and sweater with the occasional crop top. Her nose is pierced and she has several different colored piercings to match either the occasion or her outfit. On her left shoulder is a tattoo of a heart, which she has yet to decide how to get filled in (she's torn between the colors of the lesbian pride flag or the transgender one), and on her right shoulder blade is a cherry blossom branch.

Helena Stoker is both Sam's boss and loving partner. Helena picked up Sam after Sam was fired from her programming job for transitioning to female; she gave her a secure place to live and helped her start HRT while showing her the ropes of life as a criminal. When Sam proved her worth as a hacker, Helena started giving her bigger and bigger jobs. The bigger jobs meant spending more time talking to Helena about what she wanted, and their conversations often deviated from work to their personal lives. Their flirting was good-natured and never went anywhere until Helena's car was ambushed one evening. She managed to escape after a struggle, but was injured. Instead of allowing her employees to see their Queen weakened, she went to Sam and asked to drink from her. Previously, Sam had not known Helena to be a vampire, but the serious look on Helena's face convinced her and she let Helena drink her blood. As Helena slept and recovered from her injuries, Sam watched over her. When Helena finally woke, Sam asked her out. Their relationship is an open secret in the organization and not questioned. Helena is protective of Sam and her feelings, so much that more than one imbecile has gone missing after a callous comment.

Sam presented as a normal guy for a good portion of her life, though with some nonconforming hobbies. She picked up computers at four years old, when her father put one in his home office, using it to play pinball and eventually puzzle adventure games. Growing up, she always exhibited signs of remarkable intelligence, but because both of her parents worked outside of the home and were dedicated to their careers more than their child, the school was never able to get her into any advanced programs. Bored out of her mind, Sam started to read voraciously. She spent so much time in the school library that she knew the librarians better than she knew her classmates. The librarians did their best to help her out, recommending educational books so she could learn something while she hung out in the library.
At eleven, however, her father lost his job and their family had to move to a smaller house in a different school district. Her new school was less receptive to her habit of spending her days in the library and her time was quickly limited to only a couple of hours every week. She would run out of books during the week and resorted to bringing her father's coding books to school. They were not the most interesting books she'd read, but as technology progressed, she became more interested in programming and computers. [...]
After leaving the tech industry because of her transition, she was picked up by the one and only (Queen) Helena Stoker and put to work as a hacker. She started out hacking alarms and security cameras, but upgraded to breaching entire systems as her skills developed. When she managed to pull off a successful heist against a bank, she went from throwaway hacker to Helena's trusted companion.
