though honored by sainthood, since being slain by his own master, his grasp on reality has slipped. he longs to be treated as a human and tries ceaselessly to prove he is deserving of such treatment, primarily by proving utility to humans. it is fairly easy to convince him that he is guilty of things that he did not actually do. he responds poorly to pity and his contemptuous towards other dogs, feeling that he is superior to them. if he is holding an object he is not supposed to have, he will become very protective of it.

though he finds her irritating, he unknowingly grows attached to joan because she is a knight, like his master.

in his first form, he appears to be a clothes-wearing, anthropomorphized circus animal.

in his second form, he seems to have been roboticized in a cross between an idog and a boston dynamics monstrosity. his personality is re-written for efficiency.

his neck ruff appears to be a part of his body and moves about in an aggression display. he can also store random objects inside his body by eating them, since he can't really digest anything.
