the narrator;

envoy of the long slumbering goddess of wisdom. in her absence from the world, narrator is contract-bound to record events across the world over the next several centuries.
saved from the icy ruins of his home by a deity who offered his life purpose, narrator now roams the desolate world in the wake of its destruction, salvaging what history remains in its depths and inscribing the stories of every traveller he crsses paths with into the tome of the world -- an enchanted book that holds all the knowledge collected throughout history and serves as a direct link to the mind of the sleeping goddess he serves.

so i guess i'm pressing on without you. i hope it goes the way i want to.
- his sense of self preservation is poor, especially with the enhanced longevity granted to him by his godly patron. his heightened constitution and potentially now limitless lifespan have made him reckless and carefree.
- he has an eidetic memory, but constantly writes down everything he sees and hears regardless of this.
- he has a strong moral compass/inclination towards the truth, justice and conspiracy. this has landed a bounty on his head as some would see both his connections and the information that he has access to as a dangerous liability that cannot be left untended to.
- he always wears his cloak whilst travelling as the events of his past have resulted in a general distaste for the cold. the anonymity it helps to grant him also serves as just another layer of protection.
