Funny coincidence, but the protagonist of the next Warriors arc is going to be a split-faced longhair tortoiseshell named Moonpaw, just like this character (except that she's from Thunderclan!)
My question is why hasn't Moonpaw left the clans? Everything points to the fact that she should leave as well but what's keeping her here? Is it that she's slowly becoming like the rest of her clan and not even realizing it? Influence from the dark forest holding on to that resentment she has to keep her here and feed it for when they finally decide to use her?
No, not at all! Moonpaw has a good heart, but she keeps it all well hidden. The reason she's staying is because there are a few cats who gave it all for her, and they're not even of her family. A queen twice saved her from starvation when the whole clan ignored her cries of help. His mentor is good-hearted as well and truly cares about her. Furthermore, she would never quite fit in another clan; she's a real cat of shadows, made for stalking and stealth practices. She belongs to Shadowclan, and she knows Dawnstar's terrible horror reign will end sooner or later. She has resentment, but she's clever enough not to get manipulated by anyone casual. Although so far no dark forest warrior has tried to reach to her.
