Positive Traits

Charismatic: Faust knows how to work a crowd when it comes down to it.

Loyal: Faust would do a lot for those he cares about, not minding putting in the hard work and effort to make sure they are safe and happy.

Helpful: Faust likes to help others in need, but knows when to back down in doing so. He tries not to overstep boundaries when helping, and often finds ways to let others accept his help without feeling angry or bad about it.

Neutral Traits

Curious: This can often lead Faust to either great discoveries or trouble. Or both. Especially when paired with Loukas.

Affectionate: Faust loves physical affection, but sometimes struggles with the notion that it doesn't necessarily mean he has to in some sort of relationship to get that attention.

Negative Traits

Perfectionist: Not knowing when to stop, Faust feels like he always needs to be in motion, doing things, and doing them right. If he doesn't get it right the first time, he keeps going until he does.

Impulsive: Faust doesn't...think ahead often. He can if held back or prompted to, he isn't stupid. But he tends to be run by instincts, and it's hard to break that.

Possessive : What's his is HIS. He works hard for what he has in his life and he doesn't take kindly to people trying to touch or take what he's earned.

Faust grew up in a small rural part of the Spiral Archipelago. The people were close-knit and because of that prone to judgement and the rumor mill ran the town. His parents put a lot of stock in that so when Faust started to wear skirts and dresses, they reacted negatively. They tried everything from trying to bribe or take away the clothes but eventually settled on ignoring him. This caused Faust to run away several times as a kid, eventually escaping the island with a traveling merchant.

He lived with them for several years until shortly after his 19th birthday where they were boarded by pirates. His family crew was all taken away and he didn't know where they went. He fought hard though, which made them interested in him for multiple reasons. Faust adapted, like he always does, and months later found his chance to escape.

Literally swinging into the arms of a travelling troupe, Faust found freedom. It took a year or two for him to open up to them and explain his past. They still aceepted him and promised to help him find his lost family crew and best friend. Or at least figure out what happened to them. But first they had a major job over at Kala they needed to do, and wanted Faust to join in on the fun.

Thus Faust arrived on Kala in time for the Feast of Fools, performing in the circus as acrobats and high-fliers. He attracted the attention of Valentin, and was evnetually persuaded to join Team Sea Soul. Hopefully he'd have better luck finding his loved ones then.
