Character Creation
I created Cristal when I was 5. Her character and design have developed through the years, just as I have. To this day, Cristal remains my main OC, my persona, and my muse. Through her, I maintain a piece of my inner child and stay inspired to be creative.
Personality
Cristal isn't always the easiest person to get along with. She's not interested in people nearly as much as she loves exploring. Places, things, and events have an easier time earning her affection than people. Because of her social detachment, her strong sense of justice often comes off as harsh. This is compounded by her somewhat stubborn attitude and short temper. Though she has a tough-love attitude, she does value life, and carries respect for people as a whole- even if she's not open on an individual level. When someone does get to know her, they find a good-hearted person with a deep love for the world, and justice.

Backstory
Cristal lives in a sci-fi fantasy world, where some technological advancements are far beyond our own. She comes from a family of scientists- namely her mother and older brother. Her brother (Ray), whom she idolizes, went on to work on a new pursuit in “portal technology”. It is a device that can open rifts to other dimensions. Looking up to her brother, Cristal always planned on following in his footsteps. She never realized it would become an obligation out of betrayal.
One day, her brother went rogue on the science team. He created his own portal device, and began carelessly using it. Cristal, having already been studying to follow in his footsteps, joined the science team in order to try and stop him. She now goes from world to world, fixing his messes, trying to stop him.
Relations
Ray (Brother) Cristal is very close with her family, so the falling out wtih her brother was difficult on her. She wants to believe he's still good, but is determined to be the one to stop him, no matter what.
Mina Cristal and Mina were introduced through work, when Cristal was asked to look after Mina. Though she's the last person anyone would expect Cristal to get along with, the two work well together. Cristal keeps Mina's energy in check, and Mina helps translate Cristal's harsh commentary into more socially appropriate dialogue. The two are now roommates, and are content with their situation.
Lucas Lucas and Cristal met through mere coincidence. Through a difficult series of events, Lucas wound up owing his freedom to Cristal, who now has lawful responsibility over him. Lucky for both of them, Lucas is on a firmly set path of non-violence. On a day to day basis, Cristal and Lucas get along well enough. Though Cristal is often frustrated with his always chill attitude, wishing he'd care a little more about some things.
