Mate to Nefferndae. Caerwyn is a cold fellow who seems mostly aloof to the world around him , its trials and quarrels are essentially of no thought to him. He seems consistently angry, grouchy and snappy towards any who speak to him, and he is very bitter about his partial blindness. He is very liable to attack anyone who approaches on his blind side instinctively. Despite this, he is caring towards his family...in his own way. He is quick to jump to the defense of his mate, shield her from harm and listen to her problems, and for his children he is a stoic defender. He is never violent towards them, he is a somewhat detached father figure who keeps them out of harm while his mate primarily raises them.
He is very territorial, residing in a cave with his family he will not tolerate any intruders in his space. He collects shiny things and treasures that enter his domain, because he's inexplicably drawn to treasures to hoard.
He does not bicker with his other (snake) head, they are generally agreeable in being grouchy, and the cobra can give a nasty venomous bite if provoked and in range.

Caerwyn tends to be gruff and putoffish. He doesn't like outsiders, doesn't like threats to his being in charge, and doesn't like those who disrespect him. He comes across as quite shortsighted and temperamental, but really he just wants to keep his family safe. He is quite intelligent, and easily annoyed, but does enjoy music and has a good sense of humor if you can get through his bristly outer shell. He isn't shy, just prefers to be left alone because he's been hurt by trusting others in his past and doesn't find it worthwhile to let people in nowadays if they aren't already close to him. He's perfectly content with the people he has.
In his past, he was a pet to powerful warlock, he and his serpent were separate and not together-he was a simple tabby cat, however- their owner went mad and in their crazy pursuits to create a more powerful beast the two were merged into what he is now. Despite it, he tried to befriend his owner but he threw him away as not good enough, being extremely abusive towards his former loyal companion, and chasing Caerwyn off into the forest to survive on his own despite having never been a wild animal. He was beaten, attacked, and aggressively hunted, causing the terrible fear he has of change now.
He wears the crystal that was given to him by his master in years past, both because it is helpful and a memorium of the life he used to live. it mostly serves no other purpose than to light his way, in the past it would lead him home but his home is long since gone.
