Skimmertooth is never one to back down from confrontation, regardless if reef is in the right or wrong. Reef doesn't particular care if others oppose them, as all they personally care about is what they think.
Skimmertooth isn't the type to back down from using questionable tactics to get what reef wants, whether that means lying or using cheap tactics in a fight.
Skimmertooth supports power and strength over most else. Prove you're strong, and reef will support you, but know that support only goes as far as your strength. If they feel you're weaker, Skimmer will switch sides.
Overall, Skimmertooth wants power and success, and reef considers it easier to get those traits the easy way, rather than the hard way. If that means questionable activities? Well..
Kithood 0-6: Skimmerkit was born as a single kit to Conchfur, who'd chosen to have someone anonymously sire a litter for her. Conchfur was a dreamy cat, who filled Skimmerkit's head with probably more stories of glory and greatness than she probably should have. The kitten aspired to be one of the great, powerful cats they were often told of.
Apprentice 6-12:Skimmerpaw was barely made apprentice before humans invade the forest, and Claystar up and moves them. Many cats die through the dangerous journey, sparking a desire to be strong over anything else. Their mentor is an older warrior, one that was soon to retire, and struggled to keep up. Halfway through the journey, they fall ill and pass in the night. Skimmerpaw isn't officially assigned a new mentor until the clan reaches the beach and the split happens.
Skimmerpaw is assigned a young warrior, who pushes reef past their limits and cheap tricks to win in fights. The warrior, Gravelstep, also fosters a spirit of questionable beliefs in the young apprentice. By the time Skimmerpaw is to graduate, reef strongly believes in physical strength over all else, and follows whoever seems strongest or most confident.
Adulthood 12-Current: Skimmertooth is named for their teeth and fierceness, and reef takes pride in their strength. Gravelstep dies protecting an elderly Conchfur from a snake, which is a bit disappointing as Skimmertooth had considered Gravelstep an important idol figure. When Dogwoodstar is made leader after Claystar passes, Skimmertooth finds reef approves of the way she shows her power and strength to both her clan and Mangroveclan. As long as she holds the attention and authority in the clan, Skimmertooth follows her with ease, no matter how far she goes.
Skimmertooth is sorely disappointed in the actions of their clan as of late. It's as if they've forgotten who's in charge. Fortunately, Dogwoodstar doesn't seem to mind reminding them who is, and Skimmertooth is more than happy to back her power over their clanmates.
