Random Facts

• Wary of relationships and commitment for various reasons. The biggest reason being he fears relationships will bring nothing but troubles and pain. He doesn't want to deal with that so he's more the type to 'sleep around'  and 'don't get too attached' to someone. 
• Of course this all changed when he got together with Owen, who originally had the same opinion on relationships as he.
• Joey isn't very romantic, he's quite straight forward, not that spontaneous either. He is also not the type to ask anyone out, it's vice-versa, people ask him or he continues to mind his own business.  
• He was married once to a woman named Angie (hence the ‘Angie’ tattoo), also Australian like he but human. She broke it off with him after fighting a lot with him over their different priorities.  
• Sometimes forgets to cut his hair for months while living in the woods of Massachusetts, so it reaches past his shoulder. He cuts it himself usually, now a days Owen trims it for him.
• Has two pet iguanas, both males, one is bright green (Ronnie) the other is a more dirty yellow-green and brown (Buggy/Bugs)  
• Hunts and cooks his own food, he doesn't buy it. He gets eggs via trade, fish for eggs. Veggies are mostly grown in his small garden behind his cabin, in front is a smaller garden filled with only herbs. He has no ornamental plants. 
• Owns a little cabin in the woods, in Boston, when he's away, he sends a close friend to live there, care for the plants and care for the iguanas. That close friend is Noah (who is a beast like himself).
• Born in Ireland but was raised primarily in Australia, hence the aussie accent.
• Was nicknamed ‘The Boxing Joey’ or ‘The Boxing Kangaroo’ by his group of buddies  in Australia. This is what his tattoo of the kangaroo with boxing gloves means.
• Doesn't like tea, prefers beer or coffee. Owen doesn’t understand the coffee over tea part at all but he gets the taste for beer.
• Doesn't care for hard alcohols, he will drink them but he favors beer more than any other alcoholic drink
• The swordfish tattoo shows a love for fishing, and swordfish are his favorite fish.
