Joy definitely shows great passion when it comes to things she likes, be it the horror genre, magic, or anything else. She loves learning all she can about these topics and would talk a long time about them if allowed. Joy knows very well not to rush things, and prefers to take some things slow. She does put a lot of effort in what she does, and definitely gives it her all to things she personally enjoys, but that doesn’t mean she’ll try to do everything quick, she’d rather do things at leisure, at a more relaxed pace, but still do them the best way she can.

Once she has come to trust someone, she’ll become really loyal. She does appreciate the people around her and to receive affection, and for those she considers deserve it, she’ll stand by their side no matter what. Moreover, she’s very supportive of those she considers close, and wants to see them grow and do things they like to do, just as people used to support her.

The main thing people would first notice about Joy is her eccentricity. For fun and giggles she tends to act in a somewhat mystical or creepy way and pretend she’s either a real witch or has contact with demons. Not only she shows this when talking, but she also tries to get reactions out of people with her movements. Joy definitely has a lot of energy, and enjoys engaging in many activities or playing around with people, even though sometimes others don’t want to deal with her. Her playfulness might make her try to scare people for fun, much for her friends’ dismay, and she can be pretty mischievous, liking very much to prank anyone with her horror shenanigans. Despite her sometimes strange demeanor, Joy is actually pretty outgoing, just not in the typical way. She does enjoy spending time around people and is the first to approach someone if they’re alone.

It’s not uncommon for people to think that Joy doesn’t take anything seriously enough when she tends to act in a rather eccentric and playful manner. It’s not that she doesn’t take things with the seriousness they should be taken with, but more that she sometimes chooses to maintain a character for the general public, even if it means pretending not to care. This persona she so likes to portray can be very annoying to some, especially when she uses it to play jokes and pranks on others, or refuses to give “normal” answers to questions, others are just merely disconcerted, as she might act unexpectedly at the most random of times just to get a reaction and unless you know her well enough it can be difficult to understand her, or get her to talk a bit more seriously with you. Despite all of this, if you do manage to get over her attitude and become her friend, she can become quite clingy, especially if not a lot of people choose to befriend her too. She’s very affectionate and loves spending time with the people she likes, but it might get a bit excessive for some when she tries to be near them at all times.
