Born in a failed experiment to artificially create a rainbow soul (a mythical wielder of all five soul classes), Jehaus was the only reject to survive whatever event killed off their creators. Jehaus is spliced with the genes of six famous awakened souls from other dimensions or something, but was tossed into cryostasis when it became obvious they showed no predisposition to the purple soul class. A shame, really. They just weren't nerdy enough.

So Jehaus bided their time for hundreds of years, outlasting the very things that created them, and one day emerging into a new but otherwise pretty familiar (but still completely original and uncopyrighted) world. And Jehaus still fully believes they're the perfect specimen, the full and perfected rainbow soul designed to save the world or blow it up, or whatever the chosen one is meant to do in this continuity. Any pretenders to the throne, please step up now.

Jehaus appears to be a brown calico lynxpoint, but is actually a chimera with at least six distinct gene lineages. Jehaus has the ear tufts and tail of a famous blue soul, the mottled tan body of a famous black soul, the brown half-face and stripy forelegs of a famous [REDACTED] soul, the ginger half-face and hair tufts of a famous red soul, the white ass of a famous green soul, and the reddish sheen of a cat whose class is yet unknown...

In addition, Jehaus wears around their neck a red banner patterned with a moon and stars, and a wide-rimmed indigo hat lined with fur.
