First drawn on the Oekaki boards on Chicken Smoothie, half as vent art and half as liking red glowing eyes, in 2010, Faxe's story was first one of tragedy, but after I posted it, I changed my mind, and gave it an addition to be a twist of hope. Since then, she has been with me, something in-between a character and a safety rope, for many, many years. I'm an adult now and my mental health is stronger and stabler now, but she's still with me, as dear to me as ever. She is as close to being real to me as anything you make in your own mind can be, and I consider her almost less of a character, and more as a friend.

Powerful, confrontational, proud, and violent, Faxe is everything young me wanted so badly to dare to be. I've gotten closer, in a metaphorical sense (I do not have knives on my arms and I do not eat people, I promise) and in turn, she has mellowed out a little bit. Just a little.

Design notes:

• Long, coarse, black fur that turns brown in the sunlight
• The size of a well-sized labrador
• Almond-shaped, bright red eyes. Comma-shaped pupils (doesn't have to be visible from afar)
• Grey, curved spikes along the back, starts at the forehead and stop at the tail
• 13 whiskers total, 7 on the left, 6 on the right
• Four blades hidden in each leg. The folds are slightly visible even when the blades are hidden. They unfold with a jitter and a sound like a rattlesnake's tail. Contain sleep-inducing venom
• At her front legs, on each elbow, is a curved claw with deadly venom. She only extends these if she intends to kill.
• Silver necklace with silver key. The key head is shaped like an eye. To the right of the key, a simple, thin silver ring (added in recent years)
• Dusty pink nose and pink insides of ears. Long ear tufts
• Bluish-purple tongue
