Peashooter

Peashooter has led a rather interesting life. When a rift from the unstable mystery dungeon phenomena opened in their timeline, a plant fell through rather than the human beside it. That plant became a Pokémon: Peashooter.

The Bellsprout only vaguely remembers their life as an actual plant, before they gained sapience. Their name was Peashooter, they think. They remember being warm and full under the sun, happy and content in the rich soil they were rooted in. They also remember fighting an enemy. Something...something dead but not, they think. They can't really remember. Just that they were fighting, and it was important. They were proud.

Nowadays Peashooter works as a member of the exploration team Team Solar, finding joy in new experiences and sensations. They can move, now. Walk. Run. And food, food tastes wonderful. They'd only ever known the taste of the sun before, and while they can still photosynthesize as a grass type there's just something special about their newfound sense of taste. The burn of spice in the back of their throat, the taste of sweetness on the tongue...amazing. Whenever Peashooter has the coin to spare they'll burn it on various treats and snacks from town to try.

And yet, there's something about the strange, feral, shambling way the Pokémon driven mad by Team Ferine are that unnerves Peashooter. Something that raises old instincts, the itching need to shoot and shoot now, before they...before they...

They think they were like their old enemy, from what seems like a lifetime ago. Something not okay. Wrong.

And this time, they don't think a simple Seed Bomb is the solution.
