morningdew is a very motherly and caring she-cat. after the death of her former mate and two kits, she has been determined to serve her clan well and has become a sort of mother figure to the young medicine cat apprentice of riverclan, patchpaw. she is usually reserved and humble, only loosening up around patchpaw or other young cats.

recently, she’s developed a crush on a tom who’s currently a “prisoner” in riverclan. he’s odd, unlike any clan cat, but this intrigues morningdew. she can’t help but wonder about this strange tom...

she’s grown closer to mistfeather, experiencing a different side to him than most. they’re now mates, with two young kits. morningdew finally has a family of her own and couldn’t be happier.

briartail, a former thunderclan queen, died while protecting her own kits and morningdew and her kits from a young fox that broke into camp. morningdew is now devoted to protecting briartail’s kits at any cost, taking them in and nursing them as her own. she’s forever indebted to briartail and determined to give her kits a good life in riverclan. 

the kits have now graduated to apprentices, leaving morningdew back to her warrior duties. she’s beyond happy for them, and eager to see them grow and mature, but she can’t help but miss caring for them in the nursery. she loves nothing more than taking care of kits, whether they’re her own or not. perhaps she’ll talk to mistfeather about having another litter in the future...

she gave birth to another litter! and, surprise! she had three in this litter rather than the expected two. keeping their naming theme, the pair named their new kits eveningkit, frostkit, and nightkit.
