[DUSK] Maylu is chasing after her sister, Lindy, who is following a butterfly along the ridge of a cliff, into the woods. Trying her best, she’s unable to keep up with her agile counterpart. Maylu calls her over and over, but the words never reach her.

In fact, Lindy is so immersed with her pursuit that she has completely forgotten her twin sister. A shining trinket flies into the dirt and Maylu slides to the ground to catch it. Clutching Lindy's jade necklace preciously, she struggles onto her feet and dusts off her scraped knees.

Disheartened that her sister did not even notice or turn, and realizing their separation is too great, Maylu looks over the edge gloomily. She wonders if she were to fall, if Lindy would relent to notice. Closing her eyes, clasping her own chain.. she throws herself over.

A cry of despair and a harrowing fall.. she lands on her back with her legs draped up against the rock. She stares into the darkening sky, waiting. But her sister never comes.

Night falls, and Maylu begins to grow frightened of being alone. She crawls to her feet and begins wandering the dense forest, calling Lindy’s name. Barely able to see, she saunters beneath a tree which provides some reprieve from the building rainfall. Damp and shivering, she notices a spirit’s motion, beckoning to her in whispers, and follows the shadow towards a cave.
