Solstice

     Solstice has a successful career in fine arts photography and portrait photography. He’s not famous, but he’s well known and respected around Chicago! 

     Every day for several years, from wherever he is in the world, Solstice has photographed the sunrise at the start of his day and the sunset at the end. This is largely what he is known for in the photography world, along with his atmospheric photos of Chicago.

     Unlike those in media who put excessive emphasis on Mayar’s glamorous appearance, Solstice likes to take pictures of Mayar without misrepresenting him. Solstice often photographs Mayar while they walk on the beach or by landmarks in their city Chicago. 

     When Solstice prints out the pictures, he enjoys writing little poems on the backs of them before giving the printed photos to Mayar. Mayar encourages Solstice to publish his poems in literary magazines, but Solstice thinks they’re all too silly. Solstice thinks of his poetry as a lighthearted hobby, but he does appreciate Mayar’s enthusiasm about it.

     Solstice’s favorite vacation destination is New Mexico. He loves learning about its history, geography, and culture.
