Dream is a Goddess who represents the dreams of monsters. Although she represents a big part of every-night life, she still isn’t the most likeable. Dream isn’t the happiest goddess, and always has a sour attitude. She is always exhausted and has an explosive temper, and struggles to tolerate other goddesses; preferring to keep them as far from her as she can manage. She has it in her head that all of the other goddesses use a biased ranking system just so that she can be bossed around and told what to do. She’s not one to act out in the first place, however she is very stubborn when given instruction, and attempts to do the opposite out of spite. The other goddesses don’t really care.
Goddess ranks are given based on many different factors, such as Vitality, Power, ect. Although Dream isn’t a particularly important goddess, she earned a higher rank based on the sheer magic she has. Her magic is used to make thousands of guardians to cater to the dreams of individuals. These guardians are created to make the global-scale job easier to complete, and so many individuals can have unique dreams at the same time. These guardians come to her with reports and information and she acts as the boss; her end decision is final, and she is very strict with the job. If a guardian doesn’t perform well enough to her standards, she ‘splats’ them, destroying the guardian and reabsorbing their magic to create a replacement. This can be quite a graphic image to other guardians, to her it’s nothing more than swatting a fly. Fear is a good motivator.
