Death

Death killed the Goddess of Life for the sake of her own lazy ideology. Death finds frustration in her role in the management of mortals. She is bored of 'cleaning up' after the goddess of Life, and believes that bringing new life onto earth only for it to die is a pointless cycle, and she'd rather do nothing. She believes it's her right to pursue things when she wants them. Death knows she's a powerful goddess, who's grand solution is being punished and rejected by the other goddesses who are blinded by their faith in old traditions.

Failing to heed the goddesses' warnings, Death acted on this selfish agenda by creating two illegal clones, Kali and Malandra; feeding an unusually large portion of magic matter into a Guardian to create a significantly more powerful and sustainable creation closer to a goddess. These clones were made to alleviate the volume of work that fell onto Death, with plans for Malandra (the eldest) to eventually become her replacement so that she can retire. Malandra was a prodigy and Death's successor, but she would eventually abandon her duties to hide on earth and labelled a traitor. Just over an Earth's century after this event, Death would find and murder Life.

In the time after Malandra's desertion, Kali would discover Life's personal refuge, and would seek comfort in her friendship now that her sister was gone and the pressure of becoming the new heir looming over her. Kali and Life became extremely close, but Death would eventually catch on and find Life's hideout through her daughter, killing Kali's best and only friend. When discovering her best friend dead at the hands of her mother, Kali would use everything in her power to strip Death of her magic, despite the following consequences. The absence of both of their powers threw them from the realm of the gods, and flung them down onto earth from the sky as mortals/ex-gods. Death hurled electric purple magic at Kali in an attempt to kill her, but missed her, only grazing past Kali's face and resulting in Kali's eye scar. Death in turn lost her arm fighting Kali when it broke during her stone petrification, which was triggered by overexertion of magic.

Death spent 18 years frozen in stone before recovering a slight amount of magic and re-awakening to fight Kali again, getting trapped in an ancient jail cell in a mountain and being too powerless to pass the magic barrier Kali had set to seal her.
