Mild Sexual Content

This story does not contain actual sexual content, but Orchid can't go two sentences without making some kind of horny joke. A sexual encounter is briefly considered, but ultimately turned down.

It also showcases the beginning of a relationship with an incredibly imbalanced power dynamic, and said power dynamic is openly discussed throughout the entire story. Toward the end of the story the character with less power in the relationship has an emotional breakdown over the stress the imbalance is causing her with no real resolution.

Alison often references the fact that, outside of the specific scenario within this story, she is enslaved and treated incredibly poorly. Combined with all of the above, it creates an uncomfortable atmosphere and is hopefully the bleakest romcom you'll read today!

“What is wrong with you?” Solana hissed in spite of herself. Considering his standing it behooved her to tread carefully, but in a mere few moments he’d managed to offend her inhibitions out of existence.

Dicro leaned in closely, placing a hand on the wall behind her, the look that bored directly into her all too eager to be doing so.

Explicit Violence

(kinda spoilers) There's an extremely brief - maybe a paragraph long - section containing strangling, drowning, and blood that comes essentially out of nowhere and is gone as quickly as it appears.
