The current reigning master psychopomp in the realm of the gods, a former master of the rapier, and the mentor of Euphie. Once Jule feels that Euphie is ready, he will step down from his role and go into hiding to prevent any further political strife.

When Jules was a candidate in the running to become the new spritual head, an assassination attempt from one of the opposing families left him blind. However, he feels no regrets because he was able to protect his friend, Mirielle, in the end. Currently, he is a mentor to Euphie, the one next in line to take over his role. He is a gentle and carefree teacher who prefers others to learn through their mistakes rather than tell them right from the start. This results in a lot of cryptic advice and directions to the dismay of Euphie. Laughs at pretty much any bad joke and is also quite the chatter box. He always seems to know everything that happens in the godly realm they reside in.

Mirielle is his childhood friend who hails from a family of knights that has served Jules for thousands of years. Due to her failure in protecting Jules, Mirielle holds a guilty conscience over her inability to do her job properly. Jules pays no mind to his lack of vision as he considers it a small price to pay for the life of his friend. However, knowing that Mirielle wouldn't be satisfied with simple forgiveness, he requested her to read to him at least once a week for the rest of their lives. Other than that, he loves to tease her about her height, blaming it on her lacking consumption of vegetables, milk, and incredible sweet tooth. He also enjoys giving her outlandish requests to see her reaction and is always a little surprised when she does complete one of them (bully).
