Identity V

Basics: His survivor form is "The Hypnotist" and he works in Grief Hypnotherapy (in Grief Counselling). His Hunter form is "The Director", having expertise in Mortuary Work.

Pre-Manor: Ira was a therapist, specializing in grief and death. He has a license in mortuary related services, but wanted to practice his specialty in helping others process and heal from grief. In knowing general psychotherapy and mental health, he liked helping others with their own concerns, knowing how debilitating it can be from his own experience(s). Ira had a past person he had adored, but with distance as any of his love interests had gone unrequited. She focused so much on her career and dreams relating to work, that she hadn't pursued anybody romantically and had been a hopeless romantic for as long as she could recall. Having mentioned mental health, she struggled with DID, BPD, OCD and c-PTSD, but has come to a place that she had just become able to function, despite these struggles. Her wish is to be able to help as many people as possible and gets attached to many people she aids, wanting to be able to be there for them more, but can only do so much in a professional setting. Ira suffers from profound self-hatred, for reasons unknown. Despite it all, Ira tries to maintain a clean and happy image, in his pursuit to be of help (to the best of his ability).

Manor (Before-Death): Upon invitation, seeking true happiness and success, Ira arrives at the manor. While at the manor, Ira meets several other people, having befriend some and avoid others. In this pursuit of happiness, she has a naïve and vulnerable mentality to think, "what if I find love here?". In doing so, she pondered what sort of person she would love, having past unrequited feelings, she didn't want to completely avoid the possibility of finding someone to love. The pursuit of happiness following any desire Ira has, she happens upon the novelist, who had quite the reputation already among the people. Ira had owned and read some of his works, despite not enjoying works of fiction, preferring factual/non-fiction work, more along the lines of "reason" and "logic". Ira has no real knowledge on Orpheus, personal or as an author, therefore sees no issue in wanting to know him better. Having good rapport within Baron DeRoss' manor is ideal, as to ensure your own success with your endeavors, but this is not common knowledge, as some information is of course, vague. Ira's naivety is his downfall, as he pursues Orpheus within their relationship together, going from acquaintances, to friends, to lovers.

Events (Leading to Death): In a set game, Ira is set to match with Orpheus, which leads to their entire downfall, as Orpheus hadn't been completely honest with Ira. Ira, having rose colored glasses, placed his entire trust into Orpheus as they continue their "mutual" respect for each other in each others presence, until they had this match. Orpheus had been the reason Ira dies, as he kills Ira by his own hand. The scar across Ira's neck is from Orpheus. From here on, things have changed between them, as Ira had been brought back to life by unknown means, now having an insatiable desire to do harm unto Orpheus.

Manor (After-Death): "Life" after death, created a change in Ira's perception of trust, causing him to be more reserved in trusting love of others. Being someone who has a Hunter form, other than his initial Survivor side, he feels a divide in his mentality, unsure why he is having more thoughts that are rather sadistic. When unable to handle the overwhelming thoughts, he has nobody else to properly turn to, due to the lack of trust that Orpheus has formed. He is reserved socially, while keeping minimal ties with others. Due to the nature of the manor, Ira still does converse with others, mostly to a less personal level. Caution is a common habit for Ira, around those who show great interest in his personal life. The pursuit of happiness, has lead to his untimely and rather undignified death. Despite his lack of trust, he better forms a relationship with Luchino Diruse, the Professor.

Additional Points (Not AS Important for Paragraphs):

  • Due to his experiences with DID, he had bonds with others sharing similar disorders.
  • Ira is Agender/Genderless and presents Androgynously
  • She fixates on medical biology & leeches (broadly oligochaetes).
  • Ira has plenty of material on medical, psychological and biological information from expansive research.
  • His game ability as a survivor, better works with a Professor teamed with him.
  • Ira's Spotify playlist can be found here (sorry there is no YouTube variant).
  • Her favorite dish is Penne Alla Vodka

Game Mechanics

The Hypnotist (Survivor): The Hypnotist enters the match with a clipboard. "Referral", using the clipboard, The Hypnotist can record other survivors within a set game, this will enable the Hypnotist to select one other survivor to aid as long as she is within their range (15m radius). This effect lasts for 20 seconds and has an 80 second cooldown after the effect wears off (once the 20 seconds is up). After use and cooldown refresh, she can select a different survivor to aid. Her aid offers a 2% speed buff, but is distracting in her help, so adds a 10% vault speed debuff. "Guilt" is her ability to record the hunter (with her clipboard) in a game, this allows The Hypnotist to cancel out one M1/Main attack by dissuading the hunter to kill. In this moment, the hunter will move in the opposite direction of The Hypnotist (only The Hypnotist, not other survivors) for 3 seconds. "Referral" has a 120 second cooldown. "Dissatisfied", The Hypnotist struggles with her own mental disorders that are hard for her to manage (and are quite distracting for herself), she has a 5% decode debuff alone and an additional 15% debuff with men who are not Professor, Embalmer, Gravekeeper or Novelist, as they are people who's company she enjoys.

The Director (Hunter): The Director's weapon is a hacksaw. [WIP]
