Information
Imba is characterized by visually-cold behavior. She doesn't believe that sincere goodwill should be shrouded in sweet exclamations, excessive emotionality, and balmy words. Being close and respectful of others' feelings, share advice and support is enough in her opinion.
She appreciates cooperative work, family relationships and recognizes the importance of a team in the process of upholding interests and preserving life. She is capable of sacrifice and sincere empathy for other beings' problems. And, perhaps, Imba rather often intervenes with things that don't concern her at all. Imba is a "Muse" [can read as "another one manipulator"], support for fairy knights and other brave creatures who want to do something "good" and to help someone else.
She doesn't perceive a concept of "good things" (support, life value, honor, justice, etc.) as something naive. Realizing that this is only a social concept, she thinks that this concept is a way of comfortable coexistence and believing that such behavior("good") is the most advantageous. However, she doesn't appreciate the “forgiving” part in these social games.
Among gargoyles, she is another "mum" or "big sis" with carrying behavior and sincere interest in other's well-being. Less wise than Death tho, and more focused on an individual touch not "big family dinners", but still.

About the character's legs
Imba refers to the side which believes that "if the Core allows you to live for so long, then no "mercy" is needed here, you need to fight and try for all possible eternity." The very “Fight” is one of the leading features of her personality and it often leads to non-positive results.
She has no legs due to Death, with which the character got involved in an unequal battle. Deathaur just didn't want to kill this bird. Death's actions deprived Swallow of the ability to use legs due to broken links. Currently, any of her alt-bodies [when Imba uses shape-shifting] will not be able to control legst.*
The transformation of the legs into a gaseous form simply helped the swallow regain the ability to fly in a canon shape.
Levitation is one of her magic skills. But such unnatural movements of the tail feathers are a stylization for the dynamics.

- If you look at the swallows, you will notice that they have a charming plumage, very reminiscent of wool. I tried to portray something like that, but I don’t read this extremely important detail at all. But the feathers of the swallows are still charming;
- *This part of the design was inspired by children's beliefs. Supposedly "swallows and swifts can not rise on their own from the ground due to the fact that their legs are too small and weak". Yes, I saw photos of swallows on the ground, they seem to be OK. But when I was small this story impressed me a ton. And in the future, I made a design of a furry-bird without legs on basis of child's impression.

She is one of the socialized gargoyles who communicate with her kind and other species. And her appearance really helps her to play a theatrical role of a "God/spirit/hallucination" for commoners.
Despite the fact that today Death behaves friendly to all the gargoyles and etc. beings, Imba is still quite aggressive towards the “dinomum”. She absolutely disagrees with all the thought and all the action of the dinosaur. Mostly because of mischief and resentment. Death doesn't treat Swallow as an opponent and even trying to make peace somehow but their life views really contrasting.
Besides Death, Swallow has a complicated relationship with some other gargoyles. Her worldview is quite inflexible and it can be pretty... hard with her. However, with the coincidence of views, she can be a great and supportive friend. She takes special care of the Starling, and they can be called the "Sparrow Songbird family" among the gargoyles.
[Myths]
Among the locals, this Saint is known as "mysterious night vision", which chose The One and directing them along the righteous [as she personally thinks] path, giving advice and driving away nightmares, revealing the potential of her "knight". In general myth, she's [or inspired by her image characters] a positive sign or a symbol of revenge. Though her actions and decisions are far from nicely strategically calculated and her ideas rarely bring more advantages than disadvantages. But everyone has the right to make mistakes, nobody is a saint ... wait a minute ...
All these symbols, as a rule, are used by locals to justify their immoral acts very often, or to justify the existence of “divine punishment for disobedience”. This, as we can see, is one of the sad results of Swallow's activities.
