As a young boy Syro’s father, Hoot, left his family. This destroyed his self worth from the get go, however from years of therapy he got through it. After joining the G.A.P.P he meets Decade, the two quickly become best friends, and go on riots together. He quickly becomes aware of a problem, Nebula. After facing off with the Skeltic in a verbal fight, the two run off. He tells Blue, his boyfriend, that he will see him again soon. After months of traveling together, they settle down next to a canyon.

He is awoken by Nebula, who tells him not to scream or she will kill him. He quietly gets up, and Nebula takes him hostage, dangling him over the edge of the canyon. Nebula gets her guards to wake up Decade, and after an agreement they make, Nebula agrees to put Syro down, and drops him down. He screeches as he begins to fall, the only thing on his mind is what would happen to Decade, and, the most powerful thought, Blue. He would never see him again. He hits the ground, breaking his neck. He bleeds to death, his dying thoughts of his boyfriend. Moments later, he returns as a Lost, wandering Nebua. He watches his friends prevail over Nebula, and for the rest of time, watches Blue longingly.
