A long time ago, before the great migration, a young child sacrificed to the service of the Danae.
For his service he was given gifts, blessings . . . (were such things blessings at all, in the end?)
In the paradise of the garden of the gods, it was as though the outside world didn't exist, as though no time passed at all.
Until one day the nightmare broke through the bars of their gilded cage, and drowned them all in shadow.

POWERS
- Was "blessed" with fertility and the ability to store and conduct mana well beyond his body's ordinary capacity - blessings he found less than useful in his post-nymph life
- Also able to convert stored mana into short-term boosts in mood and condition, which is marginally more useful
- Has high mana/aura sensitivity
- Has an abnormally flexible and resilient body, but no additional strength or agility
NOTES
- His slight build, small even amongst other pre-migration fae, made him stand out amongst the other sacred nymphs - a trait which he found useful when competing against the other nymphs for the attentions of their Danae masters
- Unlike the other fae he doesn't have a personal, familial or clan name - all the nymphs were named after flowers, as they were considered the flowers of the Danae's gardens
- After the events of the Endless Nightmare, he somehow managed to make a life for himself as a scholar
- Hates reminders of his history, but as its mark is literally stamped on his forehead he can't escape it
