Vanellope

Charisma and sadism defines Van, and she finds such a sick pleasure in the emotional and physical suffering of others. She only truly cares for a small handful of people in her life, but even they would be hard-pressed to get any semblance of emotional vulnerability out of her. It just isn’t an aspect of her character. She has an inflated sense of self-importance, thinking highly of her skills and achievements. She has an attitude that she can get away with pretty much anything she wants if she does it well, and doesn't listen when told otherwise.

She also has many symptoms of ASPD (antisocial personality disorder), those symptoms including: a tendency to lie, con, and exploit others, acting rashly, becoming irratible or aggresive, breaking the law, not caring about the safetey of herself or others, and not showing remorse after hurting someone else.

CHILDHOOD

Vanellope had a mostly usual childhood as a contract demon- the only main difference being that her little sister was an "albino" in demon terms and also happened to be a necromancy demon. This put alot of attention on the both of them- in Lillian's case, mostly negative. While Lillian was a shy, "pathetic" excuse of a demon, Vanellope was basically the perfect child any self-respecting demon could ask for. She was unhinged in the way that was expected of them by nature- she was born for the part and loved it all!

As with about 90% of the contract demon population, Vanellope and Lillian did not have alot of contact with their parents, being mostly raised by the contract demon society and schooling. This doesn't bother her in the slightest- since in that society parents don't have, nor usually desire, a close connection with their children, and vise versa. Vanellope is perfectly content with her position in life.

CURRENT

Vanellope goes almost above and beyond in terms of how she does her job on Jiraeth. As a contract demon, her duty is to create contracts with mortals in which their souls are collected at the time of their death. She does this with glee, going out of her way to "play with her food" so to speak and get as much enjoyment out of each mortal encounter as possible. She does much of her job with her sister, but Lillian is less enthusastic about the whole thing.
