Lillian is a contract demon that’s specializes in necromancy. Her skill is one which can bring back the dead, but only with the price of another life. This is one of the particularly special skills that is very rare, Lillian being the only one in her family line that can do it. She hates doing contracts with it, since she has a distaste for suffering, but she does it anyway through pressure from society. Plus, her skill and work is the only way for her to really be accepted by her peers. She’s at odds with other contract demons due to philosophy, and is only defended by Vanellope and those who see her skill as useful enough to deal with her. Necromancy comes with endless downsides, and it’s those downsides which make her work, well… hell. You have to sacrifice someone else you love, and the person you bring back is never the same. When Lillian tries to reason with the mortals who summon her, it never works. Over time Lillian has become somewhat numb to the pain she has to witness- she has to, or she won’t be able to take all the suffering she and her sister cause.

Not only does Lillian stand out from other demons through her skill and personality, she is also physically different. All demons have a warm-leaning color palette, except for ones like Lillian, which have rare conditions which cause them to have cooler colors. It doesn’t affect how she functions- it’s purely aesthetical and other demons with this condition don’t necessarily have similar personalities to her, but they are looked down upon.
