passionate | impulsive | erratic | petty

highly empathetic but wholly devoid of compassion, ever-enigmatic yet perpetually unashamed, a nihilist with hellfire for blood—at best, inari is a living, breathing paradox who rotates between melodrama and mystery in continuous oscillation. incredibly perceptive and loaded with a surprising dosage of interpersonal awareness, it's not that inari's unaware of societal norms: they just choose to defy them in favour of unnecessary theatrics and uncurbed audacity.

in life, inari respects little—not himself, not others, and most certainly not the world which holds them both. he is guided by envious spite, reckless abandon, and an overt lack of self-control. with joy so precious and wrath so vile, it's evident he's governed by his feelings. smart as they may be, volatile inari is downright incapable of rational thought. his temperament (or total lack thereof) makes him a rather unpredictable—unstable—being.

inari's allegiance is laborious to earn and even harder to keep. they are doggedly faithful to a select few, albeit such protective instincts are more notably imposed on themselves under the guise of laughable self-preservation. his blatant hostility is ultimately a sentinel tasked to guard something timid, hyper-reactive, and chronically insecure; inari runs on not ire but fear. truthfully, there is little they despise more than isolation or abandonment.

most of all, of all, inari is a liar and a trickster. masks have always come to him a little too easily, and his dionysian front is largely fradulent; for an individual who has gone to great lengths to preserve their own free will, they sure do love frequent indulgences in unabashed inauthenticity.
