Halcyon's adopted daughter. Rusty constantly  feels overshadowed by her father and grandfather's achievements and is  constantly looking for a way to break free and carve her own name. She's  not malicious, but her aspirations are all intentionally the opposite  or different than her father's were. Halcyon the 2nd wanted to kill  demons? Well, I want to be diplomatic with them!

Rusty learned her father's shapeshifting abilities and constantly uses it to confuse  the absolute hell out of people. She makes a point of NEVER turning in  to a lesser dragon so no one in town knows the two are connected. Halcyon  is usually lugging around a young Kodin or Drexel. Occasionally it'll  be a human, or sometimes even a non-pure creature like a kitten or  mouse. No one ever questions it, though, and while they don't know  Halcyon has a daughter most people have put together the fact Rusty can  shapeshift. They just don't know her true form. At this point they could  straight up see her dragon form and think it's just an act
