M ACH1AV3LL1AN has never been the name they identified with. Neither has Vellian, really, but it's the only better alternative to the first. Vellian doesn't remember their real name, the name they used when they were alive. The name they used when they were human. They remain searching for themself, while also being forced to hide. Telepathy (+)
Earendel's gift to Vellian is the ability to read and communicate with other people, probing their thoughts, emotions, and also interject their own voice into the target's head. The target cannot hide any of their thoughts from Vellian; Vellian will be able to hear every thought they have, so the target must be careful in communicating with Vellian in this way.

The mind has many layers, with the very basic stream of thoughts at the top, and deep, subconscious thoughts at the bottom. The further Vellian tries to go inside a mind, they begin to lose their awareness of their physical surroundings, and the more likely they are to be forced out of the mind. This state leaves Vellian extremely vulerable, unable to react to outside threats.

Relations
Creating Vellian as an experiment in transferring stars into other beings, Vellian was Dr. Verity's pride and joy... until they began to regain snippets of memories, and hate the treatment they were under. They have never been more glad to have escaped, even if they are now constantly paranoid they will be found again.
While Vellian despises both Dr. Verity and Faruq, they have slightly mixed feelings on the latter. They know very well that Faruq hates them with a passion, they realize that it's only because of that hatred that they were able to escape in the first place. As such, Vellian has a strange gratitude.
Silas found Vellian by complete accident, stumbling into their hiding place after hearing their piano playing. Ever since their meeting, the two have grown incredibly close, with Silas travelling through universes to find a way to get Vellian their memories back. And their body.
