During the early days of the Squid Sisters' career in Inkopolis Plaza, Angie was still a bit too young to participate in turf wars. She lived in Calamari County during this time, coincidentally the same birth place as the two rising idols. Her mother was an idol, but her days of fame ended too early when she found out she was pregnant with Angie. Everything was semi-okay at first, but after a few years, her mother grew bitter and resentful, watching the fame and riches newer idols were getting. Angie was victim to her mother's anger, since in her eyes, Angie was the one who ruined her career.

Through pure luck, a few months after the Final Splatfest, Angie was wandering about when she accidentally stumbled across a white and green Inkling at the train station. They talked for a while, before a train came, and the stranger left. She wondered if they'll ever meet again; This thought planting an idea of running away in the future.

After two years of the Plaza's Final Fest, Angie has finally been considered old enough to participate in Turf Wars. With this chance, she hurridly hopped on the next train to Inkopolis Square, hoping to meet that mysterious Inkling once more and hoping to get as far away as possible from her mother.

Arriving at the Square with nothing to her name, she quickly began doing as many Turf Wars to earn gold to survive. Eventually, she found a flyer advertising for the new Grizzco Company. She quickly rose to the top ranks within Grizzco, now being considered a top player in both the Deca Tower and in Grizzco. Despite being so high up, Angie distanced herself from everyone, turning down team invites or helping new trainees in Salmon Run gigs.

One day, Angie bumped into that stranger she met years ago. It was Marie Cuttlefish, now more visibly worn down. Within minutes, Angie gained the role of Agent 4 in the New Squidbeak Splatoon, much to her dismay... She begrudgingly completed Kettles, fighting against the Octarian Army and searching for Callie Cuttlefish, Marie's cousin and idol partner. After weeks of fighting and searching, Angie and Marie finally find Callie, brainwashed and fighting alongside DJ Octavio. As Angie slowly began to lose hope, Marie snipes off Callie's hypnoshades and they begin the final phase of the battle. Angie finally beats DJ Octavio, Callie and Marie locking him up in a glittery snowglobe.

A week after this, Marie contacts Angie, asking if she can take in two Octolings. Angie initially refuses, not wanting anyone to invade her new space, let alone some strangers. After a while of back and forth, Angie finally agrees, finally meeting Tobio and Uran for the first time ever.

It takes a while of getting used to, but Angie now sees Tobio as her bestest friend and is forever thankful for Marie forcing her to let them room with her.

Her current whereabouts are unknown. The New Squidbeak Splatoon are currently trying to track her down.

• Considers the Squidbeak Splatoon as her true family. (Ika is on thin ice.)
• Despite having no interest in joining a team, a lot of people attempt to scout her due to her high rankings.
• She is most comfortable around Tobio, becoming more open to hear others out if he is nearby.
• If she had to join a team, Tobio would have to be apart of it.
• She enjoys painting and sometimes sneaks into Inkblot Art Academy for some classes.
• Low contact with her mother. Doesn't know who her father is, but hopes he was a good man.
