Ika, a mysterious inkling that just showed up one day in Inkopolis Plaza. She caught the eye of a particular yellow inkling, guiding her quickly to a Turf-war team and... Captain Cuttlefish ?
Years spent supporting the New Squidbeak Splatoon (NSS), and now she's the new Captain. Still quite a lone wolf, though.
Just a note, the ref here currently is of her Splatoon 2 version ! (I am biased sorry :3)
Personality
Seemingly stoic and quiet, Ika is a lone wolf. It's not often you would see her talk to someone... A lot of her personal life is unknown, choosing to stay quiet about it.
She does make some sort of attempt of talking to others, but often struggles. Honestly, Ika is just socially awkward and doesn't understand how to properly befriend someone, it's easier for her to just remain quiet and only speak when needed.
She takes her role as Captain of the New Squidbeak Splatoon serious, often scolding the other agents for not taking their missions as seriously as she did when she was Agent 3. Ika is mostly often scolding Neo 3, the least serious of the bunch. Outside of NSS, she doesn't particpate in many Turf Wars or Anarchy battles as she used to, only joining private battles with just the agents and occasionally Deep Cut as well.

Splatoon 1
Ika had quite the reputation in Inkopolis Plaza, not very well liked due to how aggressive she plays in Turf and Ranked battles. During one of these turfs, she accidentally injured another player, an Inkling girl named Rosana Ho-Shy. Through her, Ika met a new turf team and a weird smelly old dude... what ?
Forced to take the role of Agent 3, Ika battles through the Octarian Army in Octo Valley. She struggled to manage her time between being Agent 3 and being Ika, member of Team Orca. During one of the Splatfest tournaments, she chose to skip out on joining her team and went to confront DJ Octavio, taking back the Great Zapfish to Inkopolis Plaza.
Finally free from her Agent 3 work, Ika ran back to her team, only to be swiftly kicked out from skipping out of the tournament they spent months practicing for. Ika was distraught over this, bad blood growing between her and Rosana, as this would have never happened had she not pushed Ika out of her comfort zone.
Splatoon 2
Two years after saving the Great Zapfish and being kicked from her team, Ika moved to Inkopolis Square, wanting to get away for a while. Unfortunately for her, she got a call from Captain Cuttlefish...
Going back to her Agent 3 role, Ika followed Captain Cuttlefish back into Octo Valley for a recon mission. Everything was going alright, until they encountered an Octoling solider. Ika immediately stepped up, the two going into combat.

Ika appreciates Angie for being serious with her role as Agent 4. Though, she sort of wishes Angie wasn't so distant towards her. Ika would like to be close with her fellow agents.
In terms of being Captain and Agent 4, they are the strongest duo within the NSS. No other agents can complete missions faster than these two.
"Tch... another 1v1 today ?"
Ika and Tobio aren't exactly close friends, but they aren't enemies either. A small friendly rivalry grew between the two during their battle after the events of the Kamabo CO. incident.
Ika can somewhat comfortable speak a few words to Tobio, but in the end he does most of the smack talk.

Ika feels uneasy around Uran, purely because of what took place within the Deepsea Metro.
She knows Uran is just a kid, and sometimes kids act silly, but she won't be able to shake off that feeling anytime soon.

Trivia
- When in her Hero Suit, she often binds her chest for easier movement.
- Chews on lolipop sticks when stressed/not doing well. (All the time)
- Literally only has three contacts saved on her phone...
- Was a bit more talkative in her younger years.
- She goes to bed either really late or not at all. If able to, she can sleep for days.
- Has a big family, one older brother and three little sisters. She is not in contact with them at this time.
