Combat Profile

Mika displays the qualities of a masterful tactician - great mist detection and a mare that lends itself to complex strategies. She is the type to change and adapt plans on the fly, but she consistently fails to update her squadmates on these changes. As such, she hasn't been assigned as the leader for a mission in quite some time. Though, even as a supportive unit, she seems to act slightly on her own accord...

She actually somewhat struggles with control/understanding of her mare, despite being an artificial diver. This, as well as her above-average mist detection, lends to the belief that perhaps she was somewhat close to unlocking her mare naturally, but had not realized prior to taking the demon cell.

Good application of Mika's mare requires her to have a strong grasp of the sensing attribute of her mist control. It's this above-average detection that allows her to navigate particularly dangerous fields of the oneirosea to use it as a personal means of long-distance travel.

Slapclap allows Mika to generate and detonate explosive "tags," which take the form of blank, round stickers that cannot be removed. When she touches the solid surface of an entity with her right hand, a tag will manifest where her palm made contact. Her left hand can remove any already placed tags. When Mika claps her hands together, all placed tags will explode in unison.

In theory, Mika should be able to shut off the power (particularly when not on the clock), but she hasn't seemed to figure it out. Fortunately, gloves seem to be a bandaid solution; they prevent her from unintentionally placing tags. Additionally, she can't properly clap with gloves on.

Slapclap comes with some other limitations. When Mika moves further than 200 meters away from a tag, it will automatically disappear. Additionally, explosions are limited to a single size/magnitude - around 1-2 meters in diameter. By extension, her tags are limited to the size of her palm and are always circular. The color of the tag is random.

Mika can only place a single tag in a given location, and tags cannot overlap each other.

Techniques:

Stack-clap: By placing several tags close together, Mika can simulate a larger explosion. This takes considerable precision, however, as she must ensure the tags are placed as close together as possible without overlapping.
