Name: Argyla

Species: Ascended Goddess (unlike a natural born god, Argyla was once mortal)

Age: around 500 years old

Element affinity: Earth

She primarily attacks with projectiles and weapons created of stones and crystal.

An insurgent among the heavenly plane. She imploded her soul amidst battle, choosing to give up her chances of resurrection. however, she awakened as a wisp of a soul within a newly formed divine beast, a being even the greatest of gods revered and feared. The divine beast, who later came to most commonly be known by the name Lord, formed by the coalescence of her and all the souls of the gods she intended to fully destroy with her self-destruction. The energy produced apparently effected the nature of the world for a mere moment, pulling a soul from beyond the Trinity Realms to give life to the beast.

With the surprising opportunity to reconstruct her soul, Argyla decided to take it. She decided to guide this divine beast, who seemed set on referring to her as a system, to build its strength. As newly formed his powers were strong from a mortal standpoint, but still so very weak from her own.

Backstory (wip)

After she became a goddess, she discovered that the heavenly court was plagued with toxic individual just as one would find in any mortal kingdom. Mortals revered the heavens and assumed that the gods would save them in times of great need, but only fewer cared to venture to a mortal realm and assist against the onslaught of monsters and ghouls of the underworlds. Even if a god died, generally the worst that would happen would be that they're soul would scatter, and it would take some decades or centuries to reconstruct themselves. Most, including the heavenly emperor, couldn't care less. As a formal mortal, Argyla was more oft angered by this. But she held no true rank and was looked down upon by those born into godhood. She had no hope to bring her concerns to the heavenly emperor. And even if she could, she held doubt that she could move someone who chose to ignore the suffering of other planes for so many millennia.

Argyla decided to take actions into her own hands and would descend to the mortal planes, protecting the people of other planes. Using the strength, she had cultivated to protect the weak. Her action didn't go unnoticed. A group of both gods and mortals was forming to overtake the heavenly realm. An ancient god whose soul the heavenly emperor had personally sealed had managed to free himself and reform. Although Argyla had long seen the harms of war; among gods who had little need to fear death there would not be the same devastating harm. A change in power for some time might benefit the heavens and the mortal planes both.
