A pure-blooded demon god suffering from a Hellion's curse. In his weakened state, he's indiscernible from a regular human.

He was cursed by his uncle, who had obtained a dagger with a single enchantment from a Hellion. His uncle had managed to secretly gain many ascended demon gods* to his side, overwhelming Ezekiel's father in battle and sealing his soul. Upon delivering the tragic news to Ezekiel, his uncle attempted to slay him. But Ezekiel was on guard and was only scraped by his uncle's hidden dagger. Unfortunately, a single scrap was enough to cast the curse. Before Ezekiel fully weakened, he forcefully expended all his magic to teleport as far away as he could. He ended up leaving the underworld, landing himself in an unknown mortal realm before he lost consciousness. 

((*ascended gods are mortals who through merits and chances of fate, gaining godhood. Ascended demon gods gain godhood through committing great evils, and ascended heavenly gods do so by committing good deeds. As a pure-blooded god, Ezekiel was born as a god, so unlike ascended demon gods, he isn't necessarily inherently evil. although to others, he still bears the negative stigma associated with demon gods))

He expected the curse to destroy his body and wasn't certain his soul would even survive for a chance of cultivating back his strength to resurrect himself. Except he woke not long after he lost consciousness, the Hellion's curse had receded, if only slightly. It turned out that a divine beast had come across his body after he collapsed and took Ezekiel along, using their power to purify the curse. Ezekiel was able to learn that this divine beast was still newly formed, and even oblivious to its holy status. The divine beast, later known as Lord, believed himself to be a regular fox monster.
