Theodore

Theodore came to be when his owner, a musician in a somewhat popular band, brought their own Nyandroid device and set it up. They chose to connect it to a speaker they always brought with them on tours, setting it up and bringing into existence a little guy. His chosen design was based on the mascot of the band, but in cat form, and between shows each band member would get to spend time talking to their little friend on the speaker screen. They were his friends! He was inspired to create music in the digital world because of them, putting together songs of his own (copies of their songs) whenever he had free time, occasionally performing them for other Droids. It was very wholesome actually.

However, things weren't all perfect. The band eventually found themselves missing a few members after a disagreement between two parts, Theodore could only wach as two of the people he considered friends just up and left without any (to him) warning. He felt hurt by it, unsure about if he'd ever see them again. Which, of course, he didn't. Having to come to terms with there being new members was somewhat difficult for him, especially when one wasn't the biggest fan of him at first, and he still worries that they might just leave again to this day. He prefers to not talk about his owner's band because of this, somewhat afraid that others might attempt to ruin it further.

Thanks to his status as Band Mascot, and Musical Droid, Theodore ended up becoming surprisingly well known amongst both the real and digital crowds. This lead to him meeting the first important Droid in his life; Peppi, a grumpy Nyandroid he actually fought first because of a pizzeria scuffle... For some reason, that was what made the little guy fall for the taller Nyandroid. The two had a few more fights, Theodore found his confidence, and he asked Peppi out on a date! Despite being punched, he swears it was worth it, the two are very happy together now.

The two spent a bunch of time together, Theodore learned about his enjoyment of pranks, and that combined with his naivety was what lead him down his current path. He found a surprising number of friends despite his chaos, mostly Droids who also enjoyed chaos of various types, though he also made plenty of enemies as well. One friend is Hazel, a Rabbyte who grew attracted to Theodore thanks to his personality. The two were in a relationship briefly but it ended when Hazel became a girl.

Like many Droids, Theodore didn't start off having the Virus. He actually used to be fairly intact, but of course that had to change. One day, when out with Peppi, they came across a different Droid who had the Virus. Theodore, being his usual self, went straight over to them with a jolly smile and decided to be nice! They spoke, all seemed fine, but it wasn't quite because the other Droid chose to strike! With a scuffle between the two, his collar was caught in the crossfire, gaining a crack along the back and the charm being broken. His ears, too, lost various parts, and he also gained some eye damage that couldn't be repaired. The poor guy did not cope very well with this whole situation, he felt awful.

Maybe he was very lucky, though, to have supportive people around him. Peppi, though angry, chose to drag Theo away from that situation and take him to one of their safe places, Hazel's Cafe, where they got to talk and figure out that there was no fixing this mess. After a few days of coping with this new change, Theodore eventually came back to his usual hyperactive self, though it was mostly to hide how terrified he was that someone might think him broken and get rid of him. His real world owner noticed the change right away, though after a few days they figured he wasn't destructive to their things or anything. So... Their band updated their mascot design, now a vague hint towards their Droid being infected but with enough plausible deniability that they could avoid questions.
