An intersex pirate captain posing as a trader in a steampunk-victorian world. Pronouns are he/him and she/her. Oliver trusts her crew with her life. She is just and feirce, but also kind. She is respected by her crew and they obey her every command. Oliver is very skilled at machinery and flying, and is often said to be able to fullfill any job on the ship. His right arm from the elbow to the hand is robotic, and so is his right eye.

Olivia and her twin brother would always play trick on their parents by dressing up as each other. Only their nanny could tell them apart. When Olivia's brother died in a coach accident around the age of ten she ,with the help of her nanny, traded places with him. Olive(r) was always aware of the kind of world he lived in, the working conditions in the industrial revolution and the limits on women's rights. Although oliver was from an upperclass family, he felt the need to work for his own part of the world. He learned to operate the machines in the factories, until an accident caused him to lose his right forearm around the age of 17. Since he had no experience with his left hand, he had to quit his job in the factories. Oliver applied for a job in a mine shaft, lighting the explosives used to create tunnels. After she turned 18 she got caught in one of the explosions, and without her right arm, she couldn't protect her face fully. A peice of debris hit her face, ruining her right eye. She eventually invents a mechanical arm and eye for herself.

Oliver returned to his family, who still thinks she is her brother. He decides to follow her father's job of a merchant. He flies under the neutral flag, as to avoid any problems with other ships.
Oliver first witnesses an awkward and embarrrassing first introduction by Fargio, and by their second meeting grows to respect the magician. Oliver continues to send letters to Fargio regularly.
Oliver creates a pair of mechanical wings. During the revolution against the monarchy/parliment, she uses her merchant status as a disguise to bring supplies to the revolutionaries.
