- Raphael is a minor, reoccuring character from Bromodachis. He is a fallen angel who serves as a spy and informant for ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓(a neutral God) to vanquish demons.
- Personality wise, he is known to be overly friendly and charming, but also quite cunning, flirtacious and perverted. The latter is what got him kicked out of Heaven.
- His holy lance (a weapon all Angels are granted) is in the shape of a paintbrush, which signifies his past life as an artist. When he puts on his special blindfold, he can "paint" visions of his memories with his lance that others can see.
- Although Raphael relinquished his alliance with the Heaven's Kingdom, he still heavily values justice and "saving" others, but in his own unique way while not being tied down by strict rules.
- He has a bit of a BDSM fetish and being aggressively manhandled.
In his past, mortal life, Raphael was a half elf/human hybrid who lived around 400 years ago. He was an incredibly talented artist who served and brightened up his rather drab and depressing village with many colorful works of art. This was especially rejuvenating after a horrendous demon attack on the town. Raphael was also devoutly religious, as he believed that his talents were blessings from the Creator.
When he died of old age, he was granted the gift of becoming an Angel from the Goddess of Light due to his good deeds towards his people. This came with immortality, being able to choose whichever age he wanted to present himself as, and powerful celestial and light elemented abilities.
As an Angel, he served to save and guide mortals, as well as assisting in demon eradication. In turn, he would be able to live forever in a paradisal utopia. But during his time in Heaven's Kingdom however, he eventually grew bored of the realm's rigid rules and lack of freedom. He became somewhat of a nuisance, teasing and flirting with the other Angels and celestial creatures. After being lectured by the Kings of Heaven who took notice of this, Raphael became irritated with thier self-righteousness and ultimately decided to give up his status as an Angel. He was therefore stripped of his key to entering the Kingdom (his halo) as well as his immortality, although his lifespan was already greatly expanded.
While Raphael was bitter and scorned, he still had most of his Angelic abilities in tact. He actually seemed to be relieved that he wasn't tied down by Heaven's authoritarian rules anymore and he could live out somewhat of a normal life. However, with the world completely changed from how he once knew it, he felt lost and didn't where to turn. Eventually he found his place in the ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ and found himself agreeing with their way of life and beliefs. His personality became more devious over time as his morals changed, but since he was still technically an Angel, he retained his strong sense of justice and decided to serve under ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ as an informant with his unique powers. While he disagreed with how the Heaven's Kingdom was run, he despised the demons who lived in the Underworld more, who wreaked havoc on his village many years ago. However, he takes many... unorthodox approaches to how he achieves his goals.
Raphael developed a crush on Keith while bickering with him. He says that he reminds him of someone he knew in his past life. Because of this, he has a strong need to "save" Keith from Sky, as he believes a relationship with a demon is destined for doom and doesn't want to see Keith hurt.
Although Raphael pretends to be Sky's friend on the outside, he sees him as an adversary for Keith's affections. However, instead of eradicating Sky completely like he has done to many demons before, he would prefer to just steal his man.
