Historia (Tori) - Welcome
68348258_u6JjaiFYUsSmwbY.png Details:
Extra reward upon obtaining the "Welt - Welcome" avatar from the Nameless Glory Reward
Story:
Historia, though she doesn't mind it to be shortened to Tori, welcoming the newest member of the Astral Express Crew during the Welcome Party.

"Wherever you go, whatever life throws at you... In this Journey, The Astral Express will always have a place for you."

Miscellaneous Details

  • Tori's skill and basic attack are both default Imaginary in element but will change and add in Quantum depending on what the player uses after the required stacks are met. Her basic attack gains 'stacks' depending on how many enemies she has attacked. After the fifth stack, the players may use her skill and a combination of a wide AoE Quantum-Imaginary damage field is unleashed. If her basic attack is used again, she will unleash a massive Imaginary single attack on the chosen enemy while surrounding enemies take Quantum AoE damage.
    • If there is no other enemy present during her fifth stack and using her basic attack, the instances of quantum damage are applied to the singular enemy for a total of five times.
    • In one of her unlockable traces, after she uses her Ult, she automatically gains 5 stacks.
    • Her E1 adds extra follow ups upon using her skill with max stacks.
  • In her Ultimate without stacks, she deals a massive AoE Imaginary damage. When stacks are consumed and it is less than 5, it prioritizes the element that the enemies are weak to (and if none are weak to them, the default would be Imaginary > Quantum) before dealing a wide AoE damage. If her Ult is used when her stacks are at max, it will prioritize the element that the enemies are weak to first (and if none are weak to them, the default would be Imaginary > Quantum) before a follow-up attack of the other element will trigger depending on Tori's speed.
  • Her Ultimate cinematic starts with a zoom in her catalyst, showing a clear picture of the red sky with multiple Divine Nails slowly descending. The camera zooms out and shows what appears to be her (based off her glowing eyes, it is presumed to be the god inhabiting her body) standing at the edge of a cliff, looking back at the camera as the nails accelerate and smash down in a bright light.
    • While she did explain at one point that she has seen one of the nails descend from the sky, the version seen in her cinematic is clearly exaggerated for a more bombastic effect. Later, she finds out that the nail may have been casted to help fight the hoardes of Abyssal Creatures coming from the Tear in the Sky but was later on recalled into the heavens.
    • As the story progresses and her inner self slowly heals, the scenery in her cinematic changes: The red sky turns clear blue, the one standing on the cliff is no longer her alone but adds in the entire Astral Express Crew with Aerin, what appears to be Kaeya and even Dainsleif.
  • Her Technique buffs her entire team with an increase 5% speed, that would increase an increment of 1% depending on how many enemies are present during their first encounter.
  • Her idles are as follows:
    • She brings out her catalyst and shows her admiring various scenes (originally it was simply the Inteyvat preserved in it). When one of them flickers suspiciously into a vision of what appears to be Welt, she gets flustered and flails her hands a bit, trying to get it to show the Inteyvats once more as she looks around embarrassed before sighing in relief.
    • Her second idle has her bring out her phone as she happily texts someone back, typing in something before her expression turns into one of confusion, squinting a bit at the screen and simply sighing and tucking her phone back in.

When the user's ERR is maxed, they will gain a stack of Courage. Courage's stack increases by an increment of 5% for each ally's ERR maxed before the user's next turn arrives. Upon attacking an enemy with their basic attack, skill, or ultimate, Courage is depleted and increases the True Damage dealt to the enemies.

Description
Whether she had been forsaken by the Heavens and abandoned to the Void of Space, the one truth she knew was that she always belonged here. The countless stars and breathtaking scenery each passing world that was shown to her compared none to the world she had loved despite the tragedy passed onto her.
"It’s just my nostalgia perhaps, but I wish to go back. Not to stay, but to watch over."
The winds caressed her face. The earth throbbed with excitement. The lightning from afar crashed down to challenge her thoughts. The leaves rustled happily at her feet. The rivers roared and called out for her. The sun greeted her as its warmth shone brightly on her face. The glacial mountains stood steadfast, silently gazing from atop.
The world stood still, letting her take in its presence.
The lady turned, surprised at the hand reaching out for her. She held her hand up for the World to take her to their next destination.
She loved her world but the world didn't always accept her love. She loved the World and with profound joy, the World loved her back.

Description
Though it had nearly been centuries old, the image presented on the lady's hand felt as if it had happened just yesterday. A clear mimicry of her fondest years in her beloved homeland had given her heart the warmth the City of Eternal Winter could never freeze.
"I remember them... They're your old classmates, right?" Her niece sat beside her pointing out the image that was not quite a photograph but not a painting either. It was made by one of the four in the image, a genius stroke of lost invention never to be passed onto the next generation.
"Yes... To think they ended up here because I invited them to a farce of a wedding... I wish I hadn't done that."
"We could still do that, right? Invite them to a different wedding? Let's write them invitations now!"
"But... They won't receive it..."
"They will! Just place them in the box again. It's not going to be the same man who you're going to get married with so they at least deserve to know that, right?"
"Hmm... You're right... At least to let them know I received their heartfelt wishes."

First Meeting Hello, (Name). My name is Historia, but I know it's a bit of a mouthful, so please feel free to shorten it to Tori. You're always welcome to talk to me if you have any questions.
Greeting Are you hungry? I can whip up a quick meal before you go. Let's just keep it a secret between us, okay?
Parting "May your nights be filled with dreams that have yet to be dreamt" It's a... prayer of sorts. To whom? Well, you decide.
About Self: Catalyst This thing? Well, originally it was an eye that belonged to a Field Tiller back in my home. Broken beyond repair, Aerin's father helped me extract it away from prying eyes. Now it holds a lot of things: Memories, feelings... even a flower that could only bloom there... Sorry, was that too heavy of a topic?
About Self: Reasons For Boarding the Express If it wasn't for Himeko finding us floating in space, I don't think Aerin and I would have made it, to be honest. It was... a hard time for us, turning into newly made vagrants whose home was destroyed in a blink of an eye. Anyway, whatever and however reasons we may have found ourselves joining, I'm still very glad we chose to do so. Meeting new people and visiting different worlds, it is an experience like no other.
Chat: Unusual Behavior Oh, um... a-aha... Let's not... talk about my former actions... I should probably apologize to Welt for that, I wasn't in the right mind and headspace back then... Some of my actions were just... A-Anyway, off you go, shoo!
Hobbies Cooking is a really multi-faceted art. It's great fun to learn, a good excuse to use, and a really handy survival skill. It also elevates your position as the most important in a group. Huh? Haven't you ever heard of the saying, 'Never anger the people who handle your food'? Well, now you have.
Annoyances Sometimes, I wish I had been able to... Say what I really want to say or do without holding back. Being a noble isn't all that grand, you know? Rules, propriety, etiquette... Everything must be in accordance with tradition or with the family rules or you'd end up as a pariah. I should have pursued being a Scholar instead of using that as an excuse to drag out my... Oh, sorry, everything just flew out. I'm simply glad I am free to talk about this now, really.
Something to Share In our homeland, each individual has their own Constellation. If the gods look upon you with favor, you are granted with something called a Vision that resonates with your Constellation. Me? No, anything coming from the gods, be it favor or scorn, I don't want it.
Knowledge The Mara-Struck and the Curse inflicted on us, it bares a huge resemblance... Perhaps a cure for Aerin is possible after-all. Me? Well... Erosion is probably the bigger problem I am facing as a pure-blooded Khaenri'ahn. Ah, it's alright! I'm sure we can figure out something between all the talented individuals here.
About Himeko... Freylia (my sister and Aerin's mother) and Himeko would have gotten along well, maybe even had been the best of friends. Aerin wouldn't have been stuck with just grumpy old me as a companion then. For sure, had Himeko been with me back at Teyvat, I probably would have gotten the courage to pursue what I truly wanted. She has this... warmth in her that's hard to find anywhere else.
About Aerin... She's a good girl, a child of freedom I can definitely say. Her first instinct is to explore and run around rather than assess for danger. I'm sure someone like Gepard can at least keep her grounded and be the cool head between the two of them.
About Yinuo... She's... she reminds me of the children I had taken care of back home. Astrid, Gartend, Caribert... They all had that innocence and cheerful outlook despite their much darker history. I never did get to say goodbye or see them again... I hope with Yinuo, I can at least treat her much better than what I was limited to do back then. Her outbursts too... It frightens me. Not of her but rather, for her. It's very similar to the Curse and... I don't know how much more can I lose to this Archons forsaken curse before I...
About Welt: Salvation... For all the trouble I've caused him, his presence had stabilized me and my fragile emotions back then. He didn't have to play along or resign to them... He could have pushed me away, rejected me, told me off... But he didn't. And I will always keep that to heart, how much sympathy and help he has given me--us! Yes, um, he's a nice man.
About Welt: My World... I don't know what I would do or have done without him. He's... He's important. He was there during my lowest, saw me at my near end, and helped me climb back from the depths of the abyss. I don't think any other word nor emotion can accurately describe what he is to me. I think... Love should be the closest... Huh? What do you mean, 'finally'?
About Caelus... Well... You're, hmm, how can I say this... Quirky? Your fascination with trash cans and scavenging is a bit of an odd choice of fixation but your heart's in the right place. I know you've got a lot of fighting spirit in you, so never give up when rough times persist, alright? And, uh, Welt told me not to pay anymore for those ads sent to us... There's one right now? Okay... maybe one more wont hurt, but don't tell him okay?
About Dan Heng... I've heard about his past with Yinuo and... I really hope they mend things well. Dan Heng is a good man, maybe a bit awkward on the edges but he means well. I can see how deeply he regrets leaving Yinuo all by herself... And how much he's making it up to her now. Hmm, perhaps we should help give him the push he needs?
About March 7th... She's got quite the spirit! I feel like I get younger and younger whenever I'm around her. She's great with photography too and helped me take many of my own with my phone. She does give me a tired look when I asked her to help me do selfies for Welt. What's wrong with giving him some of my photos? She says something about a bet, I don't quite understand her though.
About Pom Pom... Oh, our very own conductor? They said that they can handle kitchen matters if I ever want to take a break... Maybe we should do something for them, they're always hard at work after all. Maybe a new outfit? Some baked goods? Hmm... next time, try to ask them subtly what they would like, alright?
About Dainsleif: Resignation... I've made my peace with him, despite Aerin doing her very best to slander him constantly. It was a chaotic time, he probably didn't understand how severe our situation was. As the captain of the Black Serpent Knights, he had to prioritize the people and common folk first... He thought that the nobles had a much more secure space... There are some regrets but I can guarantee you, I am long over him. Besides, Welt is there by my side, what fear do I have with his protection and love?
About Kaeya: The Future... Kaeya Alberich... A future bloodline that I had thought was impossible to continue. He's certainly the future and hope for Khaenri'ah but I wouldn't blame him for discarding such notion. Before anything else, he's his own man and no one's legacy. Whether he wants to embrace it or discard it, I will fully support his decision. Besides, isn't it quite exciting to meet family despite being a few generations apart?
About Chlothar: Caribert... My half-brother... He's a bit immature, often wanting to simply daydream of what he would do rather than put it to action, but he's not necessarily a bad person. I was hoping that fatherhood would straighten him out a bit, but our parents didn't seem to like Caribert's mother. He's a sweet child, I hope that during the end... that Chlothar at least had the presence of mind to let Caribert know the warmth of a parent's love... Not that any of us had gotten that, but that doesn't mean we should pass on that pain, right?
