Profile

ieie is the protagonist. Her name is pronounced like a long "ee".

She has a really aloof personality and is fairly easy going. Not a lot phases her or bothers her, though she can be quite cynical at times.
She's the reincarnation of Vezmerdu, so as she grew up on WINDY planet she has always felt like an outsider.
ieie was found in one of the many garbage dump sites when Dherk was out looking for robot parts. He found her as an infant, and decided to raise her, though never kept the circumstances of her discovery a secret. Dherk always knew she would end up leaving the planet some day so he did his best to teach her mechanics and engineering. As a result, ieie is very technically savvy and has a talent for building machines.

One day while exploring the junk sites on her own, she discovered a lone angelbot. Being one of the few people in her town without one, she decided to take it home to see if she could awaken it. This angelbot happens to be Zekei, who behaves a bit different than normal angelbots. ieie is mostly curious about the anomalous behavior and decides to keep him around, despite him appearing to be a young child. Eventually she does become attached to him and they become close friends.

Due to the curse put on Vezmerdu, ieie is unable to use any magic. Later on, however the curse slowly starts to wane and ieie finds herself able to directly control electronics to some degree so long as she is physically touching them. Because of this, she also becomes prone to static shocks, whether in herself or causing them in others.

A while after finding Zekei and getting used to each other, ieie was working on her spacecraft. Unfortunately a freak accident occured and a large piece of equipment fell on top of her arms. Unable to get out from under the heavy equipment and with nobody around to help except Zekei, she ordered him to amputate her arms. Zekei escorted her to get medical attention immediately after. This did not discourage ieie, although she was obviously in a huge amount of pain. With her guidance, Zekei managed to engineer a pair of electronic arms for her. The healing process was longer than she had hoped, but in the end she discovered there were quite a few advantages to having robotic arms and quickly grew accustomed to them.
