Remina

Remina is Zekei's mother.

Remina worked in a large manufacturing building on WATER planet. However, she had a vague idea of what was going on behind the scenes in the building, especially in the labs, and decided to dig into it. Over time she learned of the organization's secrets and grew quite disturbed by this information. She attempted to expose all of this to the public, but was unfortunately arrested after getting caught sneaking around in unauthorized territory. Her son, Zekei had come to meet her as usual but had gotten lost in the building, and happened to come across Jerkovski arresting Remina. Zekei and Remina were forcefully taken to one of the lower labs. Jerkovski morphed Remina into a skukun, and Zekei into an angelbot respectively.

After sending Zekei off, Jerkovski dropped Remina off in one of the labs sewer pipes. Struggling with her new body, Remina nearly drowned while making her way through the sewer systems, but eventually got out of the building. Devastated by her condition and losing her son, she grew extremely depressed. Months passed and she did get used to the new body, but slowly began losing her humanity as she began relying on instincts to survive. Her life had been difficult and lonely due to people regarding skukuns as pests, and actual skukuns being able to tell she isn't one of them.

ieie and Zekei make their way to the WATER planet and she is miraculously reunited with her son. Sadly, he has no memory of her, but she eagerly stays around, and Zekei of course is thrilled to have a new companion (in his mind). She desperately tries to communicate with both ieie and Zekei regarding what happened to her, but to no avail. However, ieie senses something is up and grows more determined to get Zekei's memory back.

 Zekei eventually does get his memory back, and he is happy to be with his mother again, although all of them want to get her original body back. It is later discovered that there is no known way to reverse the effects of the DNA morphing machines at that time, and it seems like Remina has to continue living in her skukun form. Zekei and Remina slowly grow to accept this fate, and the two remain inseperable. Her small and agile body eventually prove to be quite useful, and she goes out of her way to keep Zekei from harm. ieie seems fine with this as it means she no longer has to look after Zekei so much.Thanks to this, Zekei and ieie begin to grow out of their brother/sister type relationship and start developing deeper feelings for each other as they get older.
